Daddy & Dad Privacy Policy

The team here at Daddy & Dad (consisting of Tom, Jamie and the kids) are committed to protecting your information. We are also committed to complying with recent GDPR regulations (we have done our homework and we are completely au fait with all the nitty gritty - well, we've watched a YouTube tutorial). Seriously, though, we do encourage our readers to subscribe, which means that we are obliged to make sure your information is stored safely, and we need to let you know how we intend to use it.

After reading this, if you have any additional questions about how we use your information or if you'd like us to review or remove the information we hold about you (name, email address), please get in touch and our administrator (Daddy) will endeavour to help. Here's an overview of our commitment to your privacy.

Our website

The Daddy & Dad website is hosted by an internationally established web service called Wix.

Our contact form and subscribe services are completed through a secure server (HTTPS/SSL). Click here to learn more.

Wix uses cryptography hash functions to protect your information. If we develop the ability for you to log in to our blog, your password will be stored as a hash digest and, in the event of a security breach, your original password cannot be recovered from our servers.

Wix.com is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce, regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, and therefore adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.

To further comply with new EU GDPR regulations, Wix is developing the tools to allow the right to access and the right to be forgotten. Daddy & Dad will adopt these excellent new tools just as soon as they're ready.
